Our half day trips to the Uinta National Forest are a great way to get out of town and enjoy the peace and quiet of a true wilderness area.  A quick 30 minute drive gets us to the gateway of the National Forest which boasts over 800,000 acres of pristine beauty.  You’ll have pine forests, aspen groves, wide open meadows and winding gullies to explore.  Your guide will work with you to determine what type of trail you’d like to do based on your ability.  This is a privately guided experience, just like all Mountain Vista tours, and you set the pace!  There will be plenty of time to take pictures and enjoy a picnic lunch along the trail.  Tours are approximately four hours door to door.  You will have about 2.5 hours to snowshoe and time to enjoy your lunch.

These tours leave at 8am and noon.  If you need to adjust your timing at all, just let us know!
