Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend…

So, I’ve wanted to write about this for a long time. It’s something that’s been on my mind.  It’s something I think about DAILY! When I’m out on the trail or out shredding the powder on my board.  So, uhm, yes. I know the song…. I know the fairy tale.  BUT until I moved west, I never really grasped it.  I never had the opportunity to experience it!  Now I LIVE the fairy tale.  SO… it may be in a different context than the song I originally heard.  BUT, it’s so fulfilling.  After moving West, I have learned that YES, diamonds really ARE a girl’s best friend!  Dog is man’s best friend but diamonds are a girl’s best friend!  I’m talking double black diamonds of course… and if you don’t get that, I’m talking the diamonds that glisten in the fresh snow… the diamonds that are sprinkled all over the mountainside after a new snow.  I’m talking the diamonds that are glistening in the AIR with the slightest bit of wind (where else does that really happen?!).  I may not have a literal diamond on my finger but I live the literal diamond every single day and that is my amazing adventure!  I challenge you to see YOUR diamonds throughout the day.  It may look a bit different than expected but that is the BEAUTY in it all!!!  Embrace it!
