Snowshoe hiking today with a friend proved to be a beautiful experience. There are just so many magical moments to experience once you remove yourself from the cars, the phones, the computers, THE PEOPLE! It was magical today. On what is normally a busy trail, we saw no one. The snow was falling gently as we hiked along. We were up in the trees and it was so quiet. Do you know what quiet sounds like? We experienced it. The way that the snow was coming down made me feel like I was in a snow globe. As we came down the trail, our tracks were covered by the snow that had accumulated. We had worked up a sweat, gotten great exercise and most importantly, caught up on life, outside of the NOISE. I hope you all get to experience quiet today.
