What is snowshoeing?
Snowshoeing is the fastest growing winter sport. Snowshoes are designed to keep you on top or “floating” on the snow. On trail or off trail, snowshoeing provides a great workout burning between 500 and 1,000 calories per hour! Snowshoeing offers a mountain experience for everyone!
Who can snowshoe?
Anyone can do this sport! If you can walk, you can snowshoe. Despite what you may think, you don’t need to be graceful, coordinated or a good athlete to snowshoe. The hikes we do are designed around the desires and the abilities of the group.
When do the snowshoeing and hiking tours start and where do we go?
We work around your schedule at all times. There are no specific times during the day when tours leave. We work hard to accommodate you! Since we only offer private tours (we only place you with people you know i.e. your friends or family) the sooner you book, the more likely we are to schedule your preferred time! Where we go depends on the ability of you and your group as well as weather and snow conditions. We do our best to ensure that you are on the most suitable trail for your snowshoeing/hiking ability.
Where do we meet for the tours?
When you call to set up your tour, we will arrange a meeting place. We will come to your condo or hotel, pick you up and then drop you off after the tour is over!
What is Stand Up Paddleboarding?
Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUPing) is the fastest growing water sport on the planet! You stand on a board similar to a surfboard, using a long paddle to navigate your way. You get an amazing low impact, cross training workout!
Are you sure they are trails for me? I’m not very fit and not very comfortable on a bike.
